I love the ethereal quality of feathers, and their symbolic beauty.
I bought the indigo paper a while ago and have been saving it for just the right project, and these feathers was it! The paper takes the white ink beautifully.
These were painted one early morning just before Christmas when I couldn't sleep (happens regularly at the moment in the menopausal years!)
It was a lovely calming activity in the midst of all the Christmas busyness.
