A Unique and unusual ring, made in collaboration with my own honeybees! Whitened silver in an intricate, organic pattern reminiscent of lacey wings and plant cells. Made to highlight and share the beauty of wild honeycomb in a way that will last forever.
This ring is designed for a thumb or larger finger as it is detailed 50% of the way around the band.

These rings start life as a piece of honeycomb in my own Beehives- I take tiny sections from the edges so as not to disturb the bees, which I keep in a sustainable and ethical way-leaving all of thier honey for them and not disturbing thier natural way of life unless vital to their health.
I carve and form the honeycomb into the shapes I feel sit right with each section, and then use an ancient method of casting called 'lost wax', in which the wax and the mould are destroyed, leaving behind a unique and perfect piece of silver sculpture, made in collaboration with bees!
