This gorgeous yarn basket has been handmade by me from the most beautiful burnt orange Harris Tweed bought direct from weavers on the Isle of Harris.

It has been machine embroidered with this gorgeous rainbow dandelion clock and reinforced with bag foam to give this basket good shape and sturdiness.

Inside, you'll find the most bright and beautiful butterfly print - this one is definitely for colour lovers - providing the perfect place to keep yarn, craft projects, and sewing supplies. Or any other use you can find - great for hats and gloves in winter too!

Finished with real dark red leather handles and rivets, the basket is pictured here comfortably accommodating 4.5 x 100g balls of super chunky yarn for size reference.

A perfect gift for any knitter, crocheter or craft enthusiast any time of year, but especially Christmas. Fill it with some beautiful yarn and they'll love you forever!

I've been making these yarn baskets for a while as they're great fun to make. This one was a blast as it was a festoon of colour inspired by the lining fabric which I've happily hoarded awaiting the right project. Time to cosy up by the fire and get knitting or crocheting!
