This wooden door stopper is made from Beechwood, that has been sustainably sourced. An Eco Friendly product, providing a delicate addition to your home. No more banging doors!

It can be personalized with a name or initials and brings a touch of nature to your chosen room.

The Butterfly design is carefully hand burnt into the wood using Pyrography, one line at a time (no lasers are used here) This Drawing with Fire technique ensures you are receiving a one-off piece as no two can be exactly the same. The design will not rub off or fade as it is burnt into the wood.

All wood components are finished with beeswax, a natural seal giving the wood nourishment and preventing it from drying out. It also brings out the beauty of the wood.

I love butterflies (and moths) but we don't see as many as we used to. It always makes me smile when I see a butterfly. Seeing nature is always inspiring for me.

Another source of inspiration for this door stop was my banging upstairs doors! They even bang when they are shut. This wooden door stop is small and beautiful, I much prefer it to the bulky rubber alternatives.

It is also eco friendly which is always a priority for me.
