Natural cream beanie hat with lilac Fairisle hearts design. I have used pure British Masham wool to hand-knit this lovely women’s beanie hat. It is knitted to an alternating heart design based on traditional Fairisle, with a stretchy ribbed welt to keep your ears warm. Or if you prefer you can wear it slouchy style with the welt turned down. The sweet little "Roses Workshop" brand label is laser etched faux leather.

I have knitted this lovely hat with needles, not on a machine. It is hand-knitted "in-the-round" so there are no ugly or uncomfortable seams. To fit average adult head size 55-60cm and slightly stretchy for a comfortable fit.

This gorgeous hat will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked / signed for services. The postage price shown is for the whole parcel - save on postage when two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.

Hand-washing is best to keep pure wool in top condition. Never put wool into a tumble drier, as it will shrink and felt.

I love using the wool from the many and varied breeds of sheep found here in the UK, and I am a supporter of the Campaign for Wool. For hundreds of years we have bred sheep to suit the type of land and to produce wool for a range of purposes.

Named for the town in North Yorkshire, Masham sheep are created by crossing a Teeswater ram with a Swaledale or Dalesbred ewe. The result is a medium sized sheep with very long and lustrous fleece. They have been bred for over a century in the north of England. Lovely soft wool that I use for hats and gloves.
