This is a lovely piece of North Indian Rosewood which I have cut from a block and then carved and shaped to this Derby Style walking stick handle. It feels smooth and comfortable to hold and I will alter the length to ensure its exactly right for you.
The shaft has been made from a section of Padauk Wood which I have turned to fit the handle. The shaft has a spigot turned on it which is then fitted into a hole bored in the handle. This makes it very strong and also helps to make it look amazing.

The two woods compliment each other and as the fitting is very precise no metal collar is needed. However, I will fit one for you if you wish.

Please let me know what length you would like when ordering and whether you would prefer a brass or rubber ferrule on the tip.
