This fine natural rope baskets is based on a nautical knot mat, which reminds me of a Celtic design, with it's intricate weaving pattern.
The texture of the rope, together with the neutral color fits with so many decor themes, such as Scandi, boho, coastal, country and rustic styles.

This basket makes a great housewarming gift, as well as gift hamper base. Beautiful and useful, it could be a fruit bowl, a bathroom toiletry basket, or a hallway catchall for keys.

Jute, being a plant based fibre can vary slightly in colour, and texture , which I like, as it adds interest and shows it is a natural material.

This jute is a sustainable plant fibre twisted into very strong hard wearing rope. The best way to keep it clean is by vacuuming, but it can be wiped with a damp sponge or cloth and left to dry naturally.

I like to doodle with rope, and this basket was created by messing about with a traditional nautical knot. It took a few different basket styles before I was happy with this one. It is made with one length of rope. Now, this is one of my favourite creations.
