A beautiful crescent shaped shawl, hand-knitted in 80% supersoft Falkland wool with 20% silk in fabulous turquoise, full of greeny, bluey lusciousness.
This shawl is a luxury item, designed using traditional Shetland Lace motifs. Shetland Lace knitting stitches and motifs all have their own names and for this shawl I have used Fancy Net, Lace Holes and Drops Lace.
The shawl is so light and delicate, knitted in laceweight yarn, and drapes wonderfully. It can be worn in different ways and works well with both casual and formal outfits. Drape it over bare shoulders on a summer evening, or snuggle around your neck in chilly weather.
