Having always been interested in pretty jewellery and also crafting I was very pleased when I came across the microwave kiln online. I saw the amazing pieces that some people were making from it so decided I would have a go myself.
I found some really lovely sheets of dichroic glass many with vibrant colours, bought some tools and then set to as soon as I could.
The results really surprised me.
These earrings I produced from a blue green dichroic. The base is of a plain black Bullseye glass. They appear to change their colour when they are moved and have a beautiful shine.
