Thrown vase with blue glaze with a cloudy 'aurora' pattern round the top. Approx 6cm tall.

I don't have EU or Worldwide shipping listed but am happy to ship overseas, so do get in touch if that's where you are (as some items are heavy I'd rather get it right for both of us than estimate incorrectly).

I love deep blues, but they can be rather flat, so for this vase I used gold lustre crystals which are placed on the glaze before firing - making them stick is quite an art! In firing the lustre sinks into the base glaze to create a random pattern. I absolutely love how this turned out, it feel reminiscent of the Northern Lights- the aurora borealis in an Arctic sky - hence the item name. Beautiful with a few wild blooms or - as autumn approaches - a starburst of allium seed heads, which would echo the stars above the shimmering lights.
