Handmade beads, in aquatic tones, provide the central focus on this unique necklace. Handcrafted, in my Brighton studio, colourful swirls of blue, green and a hint of white comprise the unusual beads used in this statement necklace.
I used translucent polymer clay to create this distinctive necklace. Each bead is threaded onto silver aluminium wire that is made into a loop and linked to the next bead. Not unlike a chain. Polymer clay is a lightweight substance, making this intriguing necklace comfortable to wear.
At approx. 30" 76cm this singular necklace is easy to put on and take off.
An unusual necklace gift for that special someone, especially yourself.
Non fussy packaging. I paste vintage magazines, annuals, books, music sheets, or my own hand painted designs onto reclaimed cardboard packaging.
Why?
A) It's cheap and keeps costs down
B) With so much packaging floating round it's nice to recycle.
C) There's something rather therapeutic in gluing paper onto card.
