Genuine White Oak whiskey barrel wood turning pen blanks
Pen blanks are cut from the staves of a used Jack Daniel's oak whiskey barrel

Jack Daniels - Lynchburg Tennessee use these barrels once to age their whiskey and then they are sold often to Scottish Whiskey Distillery's

Beautiful blanks to create amazing gifts, projects to sell etc. Steeped in history, soaked in whiskey
Size per blank approx 120 mm x 25 mm x 25 mm

These pen blanks are charred on one side and most have the soak line where the whiskey soaked into the wood. Most also still have the aroma of the whiskey

Hello, thank you for visiting my shop Robertscraftstore,.

Then when visiting a local whiskey cooperage – for a old whiskey barrel - to cut in half for two garden plant barrels, while waiting in there office I noticed that Whiskey Barrel staves which maybe could be used a pen / knife turning blanks.
Please remember I use wood from Whiskey Barrels, which could be 30 years old, so they are not like new wood, they do have imperfections, which is part of their caricature. Put simply no two items I sell looks the same.
