Long Wood Wall mounted clock, handmade using old Jack Daniels whiskey barrel, with silent quartz clock movement

Size 880 mm long x 110 mm wide x 25 mm deep,

Each clock is handmade from restored old whiskey barrels, in this case originally from Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchurch , Tennessee, then shipped a Scottish distillery for further use.

Using the whiskey barrel sides ( staves ) we have crafted a one off clock, no two clocks can be the same as the White Oak used in the barrel making ages differently. These barrels can be up to 30 or 40 years old, as wood is a natural product the texture, colour and appearance will vary. Which gives the clock a unique appearance for any room decor addition.

Being manufactured from old barrels the dimensions are not always perfect, normally the clocks are 880 mm long x 100 mm wide x 25 mm deep, but the can & will vary dependent and the barrel. Each clock is fitted with a “D” ring on the back for hanging. Battery size is AA – not supplied.

Hello, thank you for visiting my shop Robertscraftstore,.
I had always had a leaning towards clocks as well, then a couple of years ago we inherited a family Vienna Clock, so I removed the clock from its wooden housing and spent hours cleaning and French polishing the housing.
Then when visiting a local whiskey cooperage – for a old whiskey barrel - to cut in half for two garden plant barrels, while waiting in there office I noticed a Whiskey Barrel Stave Clock on there wall. That was the start of my journey to craft items from whiskey barrels.
All the items offered for sale are handcrafted by myself, some take longer than others but normally I only have items for sale which I have crafted. Please remember I use wood from Whiskey Barrels, which could be 30 years old, so they are not like new wood, they do have imperfections, which is part of their caricature. Put simply no two items I sell looks the same.
