I am back, this is now my 'day job' and not a side hustle, I thought i would revisit Folksy and re open my shop.
I have always had a love for hares. Throughout time hares have been considered as sacred animals by many different kinds of people. It was said the Queen Boudicca prayed to a hare goddess before going into battle. Hares are associated with fertility and the start of spring, seeing a hare, particularly one gazing at the moon is still considered good luck today. It’s about re-birth and growth, making this the perfect gift for anyone venturing into a new chapter in their life.
A gift for a new baby’s room to bring luck, a gift for a new job or retirement. This is a great way to say I love you, and mean it.
The inspiration behind this canvas is the hare’s love of the moon light. There is a deep seated crazy with it, and the Hare also represents a gentle calmness too. This resonates with me as an artist and creative, we become obsessed with inspiration. If the moon is inspiration, this Hare is crazy with its light.
