It is fastened by a hand crafted shepherd's crook, giving a secure closure.

Fred wanted to make a more delicate version of his Byzantine style bracelets. He carefully soldered each ring before shaping it to the characteristic v shaped style of thee Byzantine era.
He decided a shepherd's crook would be a secure suitable way of fastening the bracelet.
All his work is carefully carried out with skill, to fashion unique pieces.
