I was able to comfortably fit 26 spice and herb jars, as well some sauce bottles on the shelves, as shown on the main photo. At full capacity, the rack should hold around 30 containers, depending of course on the different sizes of the containers.

I have drilled four countersunk holes for wall-mounting and include screws. The spice rack is a little unstable with no shelf contents, due to the nature of pallet wood, but I found it to be very stable, with the shelves filled, should you want to use this on a surface, rather than wall-mounted.
