A watercolour illustration of the phases of the moon with a blue and purple background. It features three moons, first half, full moon and last half.

This watercolour painting will make a lovely addition to your wall if you like celestial art, or will make a great gift for any occasion, especially if the person loves space, the moon or likes Sci fi or is into witchy things.

It is painted on 230 gsm, acid free watercolour paper with watercolour paints and is mounted on white board ready for you to frame.

The painting, with the mount, is A4 size, measuring 29.6cm long x 20.9cm wide. It will fit into an A4 frame.

It will be wrapped carefully in tissue paper then snuggled down into a recyclable box with a small extra gift ready for its journey to you.

This Moon Phase Art was inspired by my love of the moon and all things space.

I love looking up at the night sky and seeing the moon shining down, watching it go through its phases every month. It also has a lot of folklore and myth surrounding it, which is something that really interests me.

I used two of my favourite colours for the background, purple and deep blue, reflective of the night sky.
