This card shows my cute marshmallow character, called Marshie, wishing the receiver a happy birthday! They are holding an individual birthday cupcake, with a coquettish party hat adorning their little squidgy head. Underneath there is a handwritten font saying “Happy Birthday”. With the whole card set in a field of polka dots.

I drew the art and characters for these cards myself on my iPad using Procreate. I use digital drawing techniques as I am visually impaired and need assistive technology to create with my low vision.

The paper stock I use is a 100% recycled card and the card is provided with a brown 100% recycled envelope. Plus, all the packaging I use is 100% recycled also! Eco-friendly is the goal.

Size of unfolded card: 21.5cm wide by 15cm tall.
Front flap is: 10.75cm when folded

I drew this card for my younger sister for her birthday. She loves marshmallows and I wanted to make it come to life for her. After a few initial sketches, Marshie was born. They deserved their own little birthday cupcake to hold and were slightly under-dressed, so they got a wee hat! She loved it, so I decided to share the joy.
