Framed Original one off piece of photographic art entitled, Release the bats.

Art work was created using a technique called emulsion lift - this is the process of separating the layers of film in a Polaroid photo, submerging it in water and transferring the emulsion onto a surface - this image has been created using a photograph of Warwick Castle- the image has been transferred onto a 10cm by 10 cm canvas and framed in a 14cm by 14 cm black frame with mount.

The nature of Polaroid lifts means this image is a one off, unique piece of art which cannot be replicated. This item is hand printed - no computers are involved in the process.

The bats were created using detached pieces of Polaroid emulsion, carefully sculpting them with fine paint brushes - a very delicate and labour intensive process.
