A lovely sea shell accessory hand wrapped with textured Copper wire, we used a combination of patinating and Nickel plating to create our desired effect (Nickel imparts a durable, shiny finish). The Copper is not varnished and overtime the patina will change, this beautiful property of Copper means that your piece will take on individual characteristics, telling its own story of how it has been used.

Most of the items in our shop are handmade, one-of-kind or unique and this piece is no exception. Our sea shells may have been naturally worn by the sand and sea and have varying degrees of weathering; they are all collected by us on walks around our local beaches and quaysides in Cornwall.

This accessory may be fragile so we recommend careful use.
Please don’t try bending the wire as the Nickel plating could fracture and de-laminate.
If you are very sensitive to Nickel, this item may not be suitable for you.
Any rulers shown in the photographs are not included, they are there to indicate scale and are graduated in cm and mm.
The rocks shown in some of the photographs are not included they are just props!

We like nothing better than to be in our little workshop creating things like this lovely sea shell accessory which could be used as a keyring, a bag charm or anything else you can think of. We collect the sea shells ourselves from Cornish beaches and quaysides. We individually hand wrap each one of our shells with Copper band or Copper wire and the joints are Silver soldered to add strength and aesthetics.

We have provided photographs with different lighting and of different angles in an effort to give as much of a view of the piece as possible. Please have a good look through all of them and if you have the time we would appreciate you having a browse through the other products we offer in our shop.
