Gold finish standard rollerball set in a hand turned sapele base section with a lid crafted from layers of different hardwoods to give a striped effect. This includes Rosewood, Walnut, Maple, Lacewood and more.
Rollerball refills are available online or can be sourced via the seller.
Pen is provided in a black card presentation box with velvet style pad.

I love turning wooden pen bodies and, in most cases, I like the same wood for both the top and body of the pen - the beauty of a natural product is always evident. However, sometimes when looking at material It feels like it needs a lift and the idea of a stripey wooden lid was an idea for some time.I experimented with veneers and other approaches but using the thicker slices of hardwood gave the most attractive finish.
