This cheeky Elf is already checking out where the best shelves and cupboards are for playing hide and seek. Clothing and boots are made with felt. His body is made cotton and his legs and arms striped material is from the Homespun range. Curley threaded hair. His hat adorns a red 'jingle bell' and some festive frosted ivy leaves and red berries, and he's sitting inside one of my vintage bed springs which makes it really easy to place him in the best location for family and friends to enjoy with this super fun part of the Christmas time. His hands and ears have been stiffened to keep their shape.

Elf On The Shelf is a big part with the young ones in the family and their shrieking when they come across him is just capturing - although I think it's the Mum's & Dad's that have more fun hiding him from them. I wanted to make one that would every year be part of the Christmas décor. This one is purely for decoration. It's not a toy for playing with. It's just an added ornament for the home.
