One ex-display string available at a specially reduced price as it has been used for a couple of photo shoots. It's still in good condition but not brand new.
Bring some fluttery jollity to an indoor or outdoor space with this red gingham floral garland bunting. Eight double-sided flowers cut from red gingham fabric with the 'middles' created from a variety of oddments of material. The flowers are strung on pale pink satin ribbon and come packed in their own fabric storage bag with a co-ordinating flower motif on the front - even the storage bag has been made from leftover curtain lining so nothing has gone to waste!

Perfect for decorating either indoors or out and looks just as at home in a nursery or playroom as it does fluttering over your outdoor dining area or in a conservatory. I must however emphasise that this is not a toy.

Measurements: each flower measures approx. 16 cm in diameter. The whole string measures approx. 160 cm with additional 50cm ties at each end.

Although the bunting can be used outside it may fade if left out all summer long. It will happily survive a little light rain but if a downpour is forecast it might be best to take it inside as I can't guarantee 100% that the colours may not run.

Each string of bunting has been made from leftover fabrics so each one is slightly different depending on the materials I have at the time, but each will be very similar to the one shown in the photographs. Other colourways are available.

I love the cheeriness of red gingham and although many people associate it with Christmas to me it epitomises summer - think school summer dresses, jolly café tablecloths and vintage country picnics. I hate to throw any fabric away so am always looking for new ways to use up oddments and trialled this floral style bunting last year. Armed with the bunting and a camera, I strung it between two trees in a field to take a photograph and a little girl who was walking past with her family said 'oh look, fairy flowers'! I thought this was such a lovely thing to say that I decided there and then to add it to my 'makes'.
