'The Old Manse' - an original line and wash painting from my 'Little House' series.

Line and wash picture on cold-pressed watercolour paper. Come complete in its own smart, white shadowbox frame. ( Dimensions 18x 18 cm. Depth 3cm) Would make a great new home/birthday/anniversary gift!

As a writer, I frequently find myself making up little stories in my head about who might live in these imaginary little houses of mine. In this one, I decided the new minister, his wife, and young family had made the move north to the Highlands leaving the bustle of the city far behind them.

Laundry flaps on the the washing line, drying in the sweet Scottish air, and high up overhead, three ravens circle the manse hoping the new arrivals might feed them. But that's just inside my daft head.
