My craft work often has Medieval, Celtic, Norse, Anglo Saxon, and Pagan influences. Whenever possible I like to source my materials from natural sustainable and recycled materials.

These leather cuffs and bracelets have been cut from leather offcuts from a saddle maker. If I had not bought them, they would have been destined for landfill. While not a toxic material it just seemed a waste not to use as much as possible.

Initially, these cuffs and bracelets may feel a little stiff. This is natural with hand-dyed leather. With wear, they will quickly soften and take on a beautiful softer patina.

I do seal all my leather items on completion however, like all dyed leather the dye can leak if the leather becomes saturated in water, particularly when new.
