A bright and traditional patchwork, hand-embroidered, multi-coloured scissor keeper, or small pincushion - stitched from vintage and reclaimed fabrics. The back of the scissor keeper is cut from a remnant of printed fabric. Simple embroidery has been worked in bright threads over the patchwork seems. The scissor keeper is filled with polyester wadding. A loop of bright red, satin ribbon allows the scissor keeper to be attached to a pair of scissors.

As a precaution, a sheet of recycled plastic, cut from a milk bottle, has been inserted into the base, prior to stuffing - this should act as a barrier to pin points!

Size: 5.5 cm square approx

I AM IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING ITEMS FROM THIS SHOP TO MY OTHER FOLKSY SHOP 'Lynwoodcrafts' where they will be waiting for you to view them! All my items now feature upcycled, recycled, repurposed or gifted materials and there is no longer any distinction between the two shops!

I love patchwork and the simple embroidery was a pleasure to stitch. The pincushion is, I think , plump enough. As a precaution, a sheet of recycled plastic has been inserted in the base prior to stuffing - this should act as a barrier to pin points!
