This lovely little gemstone turtle is an original design created with a gorgeous lime green quartz and calcite cabochon I discovered in a little crystal shop when I was on holiday in Devon.

It was created using the ancient technique of wire wrapping with bare copper artistic wire. Copper is man's oldest metal, dating back more than 10,000 years. A copper pendant was recently discovered dating back to 8700 B.C. This copper has been left bare and uncoated, so over time it will patina and darken, further enhancing the detail of the piece itself. I kept the design simple by hand forming and hammering texture in a simplistic design, then wrapped with this beautiful stone held in place. Paired with a copper chain this will make a great piece to add to your collection or to gift that somebody special. Measures approximately 6cm and paired with an 18-inch copper chain.
