This is a mixed media 3d painting on a box canvas using rich vibrant shimmering/glittering colours to blend and mix to produce the effects of the ocean overlooked by a stunning sky made by the setting sun.

It is not framed as it is a box canvas and it is ready to hang.

The fore front shows the edge of a beach where you could get the feel of standing there watching the sun go down.

The background of the painting is done in oils while glue gun art and glitter give it the shimmering sparkling finish.

I like to frame my paintings with a black edging that I feel frames the picture well, this is part of my own mark.

The measurements are: Width 30ins x 20ins and the depth is about 3/4 of an inch. It is signed on the front.

This would go lovely in the sitting room or conservatory where it gives a relaxing feel. I called it 'Shimmering Sea Scape'. signed and dated by me.

Hand made v Factory made - In my view, when things are made in a factory you get accurate consistency in duplicated items which are also flawless and identical, when something is hand made by a person with passion, care and patience, each and every item has its own little uniqueness and character and its own little imperfections just like us humans. I love Painting water and sea pictures, I try to take lots of photo's at different angles and close ups so you know what you are buying, however, photos never really capture the full likeness of the actual piece of art. I hope you like it?

The whole painting is finished off with a couple of layers of Lacquer spray to seal in all the components.
