Warm Summer afternoons, sat out in the garden listening to the gentle cooing of the Wood Pigeons. There is never a more nurturing sound of quiet, gentle care. The Wood Pigeon, often misunderstood are exceptionally great at showing us how to live kind, gentle lives. What could be more wonderful than that?

I created the original piece using beautiful Polychromos pencils onto crisp, white cartridge paper. The Limited Edition A4 print is a professional scan of this original and is printed at Giclee standard onto high quality Arcoprint FSC, acid free paper.

I carefully package (using recycled or eco friendly materials wherever possible), post tracked and insured using Royal Mail and follow up to ensure you have received them in pristine order.

I love the sound and feel of Wood Pigeons close by. We had a loving pair nest in our side garden hedge one year. Sadly, they failed in two broods and you could feel their despair, yet thankfully they gave it one more try and they were able to raise and fledge a lovely boy that we named "Squabert" - Yes, I know, it's an awful play on words! We were so happy to see them together and that they finally we able to raise a chick successfully.
