The original design for these earrings was quite different. I was looking for ways to showcase the beautiful grey agate squares with sparkling crystals in monochrome shades but something wasn't quite right. Introducing the lavender glass into the palette, suddenly everything came together and the final opulence was afforded by the tiny indicolite crystals.
These earrings remind me of a style which might not have been out of a place during the Titanic era and evoke a sense of dressing for dinner, long past.
