In celebration of the native Irish Black Honey Bee, I have created this beautiful embroidery kit.
As an Irish Bee Keeper myself, I wanted to pay tribute to the most important member of the hive, and without whom the colony would not survive.
Queen Maeve is stitched on Lemon Irish Linen
Her abdomen is stitched in black and silver, and her translucent wings are stitched with sliver threads.
She has 2 small eyes and a golden crown to reflect her status
I hope you enjoy stitching her as much as I have :)
