Limited edition Prints available of this pen and watercolour painting, on archival art paper.

The Reel cinema in Plymouth, England is a beautiful, (I think), Portland stone, Art Deco building, which since its opening in 1938 has changed hands a few times. Including ABC and Cannon companies. During its life it has also hosted music venues, notably The Beatles and Tom Jones.

I have included 3 movies advertised when the cinema would have changed hands again to Reel in May 1977. Star Wars was released 25th May 1977, so it would have shown.

The cinema closed in 2019 and it was due to be demolished, but hopefully it will be saved.

I wanted to save this beautiful cinema before it gets knocked down. So at least I have it saved on paper. I think I managed to capture it in its glory.
