Little brown needle felted chicken on a vintage cotton reel
This little brown chicken stands on a vintage wooden cotton reel. The chicken has been made by needle felting some brown Alpaca fleece for his main body. Some detail has been added using red and yellow merino wool and a pair of black glass eyes. His legs/feet have been made from garden wire. The vintage cotton reel that he proudly struts on has been hand decorated with a pyrography tool, with the words cluck, cluck and some flowers and bees. From the bottom of the cotton reel to the top of his head this chicken stands 11cm high.
Please note that my items are not toys and are for decoration only. They are not suitable for children to play with, as they have small parts such as beads which could be pulled off and accidently swallowed.
This little brown chicken will be sent in a handmade upcycled box. I have tried to make tailored packaging for each handmade item. This is mainly to protect them when being sent through the post but also to try and make them presentable if you needed to give them as a gift.
