This stunning 'teardrop' jewellery set is made from aventurine green glass topped with crystal clear for added depth.

Aventurine is a supersaturated chrome glass with metal flakes which really glints and sparkles in reflected light. (hard to fully capture in photos)

Fused in my kiln at over 800 degrees Centigrade to give the glass its glossy appearance, it is then slowly cooled to give it durability. The whole process takes over 20 hours.

Silver plated fittings are attached with super strength specialist glue. The earring wires are sterling silver so suitable for even the most sensitive of skin! The pendant is supplied on a silver plated snakeskin chain necklace but the bail is large enough to accommodate most other types of neck chain/cord.

Length of pendant (excluding bail) 3.8cm width (at widest part) 2.75cm
Length of earrings (excluding fittings) 2.2 cm width (at widest) 1.6 cm
Length of silver plated chain approx 45 cm

Will come tissue wrapped in pretty organza bag (colour of bag may vary)

I was drawn to the exciting possibilities of using this glass for jewellery as soon as I saw it. It sparkles and glints in both natural and artificial light and is perfect for everyday wear as well as a bit of pizzazz for partying.
