This is a fine art giclee print of an original Watercolour by Naomi Neale.

You will be buying an open edition print. I sign and title each print individually on the front and sign and date on the reverse and place in cellophane. The print comes with a 1" white border around the 8x12" print area and a 2" border around the 12x16" print. Prints will be posted in either a hardback envelope or a poster tube depending on size. I post everything recorded delivery.

"Hare in Blue" is printed using archival quality 280gsm Matt giclee paper, using inkjet ink on an Epson 10 colour printer. The prints are of excellent quality using paper that has a rough texture like the paper used in the original painting.

Please note that this is an unmounted, unframed print, however mounts and frames are easy to purchase in these dimensions from most homeware shops and framers.

Working mainly in watercolour, I try to capture the essence of the scene using various techniques to create light and texture. Each painting will take me days to consider which techniques I'll use, the composition, colour palette and so on. Only after these considerations are made will I pick up a brush. I try to keep my paintings fluid and fresh and therefore the actual painting of a piece often takes no time at all!

The original artwork of "Hare in Blue" is watercolour with highlights of soft pastel. When painting, I don't like to be restricted to one form of painting medium. I let the painting evolve and guide me as it develops.
