Handmade sea glass jewellery & whimsical watercolour paintings of the Scottish seaside and its adorable wildlife. Based in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland, I create coastal-inspired gifts including jewellery, limited edition prints, cards, coasters, tea towels and more!

Sea glass heart mosaic using beautiful pale green Scottish seaglass. The picture is framed, ready for your wall. The sea glass washes up on the gorgeous beaches in the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland. The shades of glass included in this heart are evocatively known as 'sea foam'. Much of it dates back to the Victorian era and is known as 'mermaid tears'. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore. The glass has been reshaped and smoothed over decades of tumbling in the Scottish waves! Silver wire Celtic swirls have been added to enhance the shapes and colour of the glass. This original art comes in a wooden box frame and measures 18cm square.
