Intimacy II
The Intimacy series of paintings were worked over the period of a year with other works. The originals are painted using a very liquid made oil paint that enhanced the mark and line making whilst also giving a very balanced coverage of the image. The original works are 77cm x 57cm and the reproduced images can vary in size again the photography enables large images to be made if required. This particular work is 17.5cm x 23 cm and is an artist proof of manipulation of colour.
This quite simple image was a pleasure to make, to work with line and dimension and a steady hand was interesting and rewarding. JH
