Intimacy V
The Intimacy series of paintings were worked over the period of a year with other works. The originals were painted using a very liquid handmade oil paint that enhanced the marks and line making, this also gave a very even coverage of the painted image. The original works are 77cm x 57cm and the reproduced images can vary in size, the photography enables large images to be made if required. This particular work is 42cm x 30cm.
This quite simple image was a pleasure to make, to work with line and dimension and a steady hand was both interesting and challenging. JH
