Anemone posy brooch, hand carved and painted on wood
Description
I’ve hand carved and painted these blue and pink anemones to create a pretty brooch. I carved a recess on the back to hold the brooch fitting, which is attached with tiny screws. All the wood I use for my jewellery is sustainably sourced, or makes good use of leftovers from artisans. This one is made from cherry wood.
The brooch is varnished to protect it and has a nice sheen to it. It has my tiny monogram on the back.
I’ve added those little personal touches to the packaging that makes receiving hand crafted jewellery such a special treat. The box is lined with mulberry paper and the lid is decorated with pretty washi tape. I’ll send it promptly by first class post.
