This sale bag is in perfect order, it just needs to go into my sale to create space for new things!
This practical little make up bag could also store small amounts of toiletries for a weekend away. Made from a bright vintage Sanderson print called Colette from the 1960’s or 70’s, its orange and pink flowers give it a fresh feel. It would make a lovely present for a lover of vintage textiles, for someone finally getting away to Uni, or as a present for Mum.

The fabric has been backed onto canvas to give it some body.
It measures 22 cm across, widening slightly towards the base, and the height is 15 cm.
There is a 22 cm maroon zip fastening, and a boxed base to give a little more room.
The bag has a different pattern placement of the same design on the front and back, and it is lined with a lilac striped poly cotton
There is hook to hang it up and admire the print, and the bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.

I like to recycle where I can. Sale bags are simply wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard, and sent by Royal Mail 2nd class.

This lovely vintage Sanderson fabric was given to me by a generous visitor when I was exhibiting at York Open Studios many years ago. Its been in the too good to use box for far too long!
There is a matching tote bag also in my shop right now.
