Handmade Embroidered Patchwork Baby Quilt with personalised label

This cute little baby quilt has been handmade by me using the gorgeous Peter Rabbit fabrics made in a patchwork style, the fabrics are all 100% cotton and I've added a lovely contrasting blue polka dot fabric on the border and the reverse. I've embroidered the words "Sweet Dreams" at the top and embroidered a silver grey heart on each side.

The quilt measures 24 inches wide by 30 inches long. The inner polyester 4oz wadding conforms to British Standard BS5852 and is fire retardant certified. The embroidery is stitched with SIM threads EN71- 3 standard and the sewing thread used is Gutterman cotton sewing threads.

This quilt will make a wonderful heirloom quilt that is truly unique and any new parents will absolutely love to receive this as a gift. The quilt can be machine washed and ironed.

I love to buy fabrics. I have a huge fabric stash and I want to make lovely things with them.
This quilt was made using the absolutely gorgeous Peter Rabbit fabric collection which is a beautiful soft cotton. The detail on the fabrics is perfect and I was inspired by the fabrics to make it into something special which I why I added the pretty embroidery detail to it. I like my items to be unique and definitely one of a kind not to be repeated.
I didn't want it to be too big, as I thought it should be something that can be gifted to a new born baby, so I made it this size so it can have a newness when baby comes home and be used in those first few months but then kept as an heirloom piece.
