Item details

Perfect as a coaster or simply a table decoration. Words are suspended in resin, alongside the flowers they evoke, in an asymmetrical oval shape. Words are collaged using letters cut from old magazines, and lovingly cast in resin here at my home.

This ornament is approximately 12.9cm wide, 9cm tall, and 0.5cm deep.

This ornament combines three of my passions: nature, folklore, and art. One of my favourite areas of folklore is plant lore and herbalism, learning the properties of different plants and how they have been used throughout time to soothe and restore. It feels like a secret world, and learning about it is a unique act of discovery.
