I worked as a postman and In the summer I would often come across several bees daily that were on the floor and too tired to fly away, I knew they needed sugar water to help so the first few times I would go and get some sugar from a shop nearby mix it with some water to give to the bee, Obviously this was time consuming and inconvenient but I couldn't just walk past them without helping so I then started to carry sugar and water with me daily but this was still inconvenient so that evolved into a plastic dropper bottle with a bee feeding syrup in it as plain sugar water would go mouldy after a few days, this dropper bottle would get lost or I would sometimes forget it so I glued it to a keyring and that was the very first version of the beeboost keyring, a few people at work asked about it and wanted one and so it just evolved from there into the more user friendly version I have today.
