Item details

Feverfew, also known by various folk names including midsummer daisy or wild chamomile, is a simple but elegant flower. Believed to ward off illnesses, it was often planted at the threshold in cottage gardens, to protect those inside against the plague. It was also used as a remedy against aches, pains, and discomfort.

During this time of hardship, I think we could all do with some of the restorative properties of the feverfew, even if just symbolically. I have lovingly cast pressed flowers from last spring into resin, to preserve their beauty in delicate frames which can be worn on a simple faux suede cord.
