Each studio day starts with a long walk with my four legged friend Bryn, whilst he snuffles around, I enjoy watching the change of seasons in the hedgerow. The Wren is a firm favourite of mine and my immediate family, and I always seem, to have one outside my studio window.
My illustrations are a product of years worth of drawings and sketchbooks. I translate these images on to my iPad, where I redraw them and crate new compositions. After laser cutting and etching these sculptural drawings are hand painted to make each piece unique. My work draws on a love for pattern colour and textures, and has grown and evolved after studying Surface Patter Design.
