An abstract design depicting sunlight shining through a forest canopy. The purple and green glass represent the dappled light and shade and the glass nuggets the colours of the leaves. The sun is made from glass cut from a 1970's door panel and the gnarled and ancient tree made from copper wire twisted into shape.
Made in the Tiffany style each piece of glass has been copper foiled, soldered together and then the wire tree soldered in place. Decorative solder adds detail and movement and a silvery black patina has been applied to give an antique finish and then polished to shine and bring out the highlights.
It measures approx. 4" x 6.5" and hangs from a brass chain which is soldered in place.
Packaged in tissue paper and bubble wrap and well protected for posting.
