These earrings feature a Fine Silver (.999 pure) flower with a 9ct Gold centre. The earrings bear a full English Hallmark from the London Assay Office. These earrings were all about exploring the way metal melts and the idea was to create a very organic shape using the torch. So I cut a disc of 99% pure silver and notched around the edges. Then I applied the heat and just as the metal began to melt, I moved the torch so that the edges have a soft rounded edge. Once done I added a9ct gold centre and a flower was born! These are completely one off earrings and future pairs will be unique as the shape evolves from the process. Flowers for mum this Mother's day?
