Goring Beach - an original handprinted limited edition linocut print
Description
'Goring Beach'' is an original limited edition linocut print, printed on a press in my studio by me.
Edition of 30, image measures 39 x 12cm
After the image is transferred to the lino, it is cut with lino tools and then printed with professional printmaking inks on to Zerkall Extra Smooth printmaking paper.
Each print in an original - even if the lino is the same there will always be slight differences which render any print unique.
Linocuts are original handmade prints and not reproductions. I am very proud to say that all my prints are printed with real ink, on real paper, on a real press, by me!
(Giclee prints, for example, are only reproductions, produced in the same way as a home printer prints pictures from a computer.)
This print comes unmounted and unframed. It will be wrapped in tissue paper, enclosed in a cellophane wrapper and packed carefully in a cardboard tube for shipping.

Inspiration
This is a view of the beach at Goring-by-Sea, just west of Worthing. It is a favourite place for walkers and kite surfers, and there is a very nice cafe there called the Sea Lane Cafe.
