These earrings have been made using traditional silversmithing techniques. The shape is cut by hand from sterling silver sheet using a fret saw, then filed to a neat shape. The glitter finish is created with a frosting wheel, which "whips" the surface with lots of tiny metal pins to rough it up, and makes a really nice sparkle.
Sterling silver ear posts are then soldered in place, before they get a good clean and polish.
