This gorgeous white daisies Flowerpot pottery ornament would make a terrific gift.

Hand illustrated white daisies in a jolly terracotta style flowerpot.

Every piece is one of a kind with a fresh hand-painted multicoloured design.

Each is cut out from a slice of white earthenware clay, given a little stand, dried, fired in a potter's kiln, then dipped in glaze and hand painted with professional ceramic colours to fix the daisy design in the final firing.

It is about 7cm wide, and 12cm tall about 2cm deep overall.

I’ve always loved painting flowerpots, there’s something really satisfying about the shape and colour, terracotta is so wonderful to work with as a clay. My pieces are all made using white earthenware which is the same clay but without the iron. I wanted to make something that would be a year round favourite but carry sentiments of love to our mums on Mothering Sunday. You’ll be able to find these with other messages such as happy birthday in my shop too.
